The Smartness

Assalamualaikum & salam sejahtera sumer.

Today I'd like to share a few things about our beloved cat, Binky.

Binky is a female of 7 years-human years. I, especially love her with all my heart. This is the cat that'll greet me every morning, sit/lay down with me watching TV, and of course, the one that'll always manage to make me smile even in my worst mood.

After 7 years together, we kind of knew how she'll react to certain situation, for example, if her food bowl was empty, she'll cling to you until it's filled. Same goes with her water bowl. The thing is, we thought we knew her well by now only to find out she'll surprise us even more. Take her water bowl, we used to think that if her bowl's empty, she'll push/pull it & placed it in the middle of the way just so we'd noticed it. What actually happen is, Binky will never drink her water if there's something in it. i.e, ants, her own hair, dust etc. So, to avoid the ants, hair dust etc, she'll push and pull her bowl with her paw just so those unwanted things in her water bowl move to the side so she can drink her water. That's why we always found her bowl in the middle of our way to the kitchen. How smart is that?? I was speechless when i saw that with my own eyes.

Another thing she loves to do is to stay in our room. Mainly becoz it's air-conditioned. We usually leave our door ajar, and this smart cat will try to get in but her head is too big to fit through that ajar-opened-door. What she'll do, she'll use her paws, stand on her hind legs and push the door wide open. Or if she's from inside the room, she'll just use her paw, pull open the door. Intelligent much! There's one occasion couple of years back if I'm not mistaken, she was "playing" with the door. The door wasn't close or anything, its wide open tho, she was so crazy over the sound of that door made banging against the wall, she kept banging that door. I, as usual, scream "Binky!!! Stop that!!" . Guess what? She stopped immediately.

Binky also, loves to sit on Encik Hati's chest while he reads every night before sleep. Why? We have no idea. Seems like a routine that she tends to follow every night without fail.

See that? Right on top of  his chest. 

Another thing that she never fails to do is to "teman" myself performing solah. She doesn't have to sit next to me while I'm at it, but just enough to be in the same room. There are times that she'll sit on the top corner of my prayer's mat. Doing nothing, just sitting there until I'm done. Encik Hati manage to capture some of that moments in photo. Once I'm done, she'll just stand up and move along.

I've had dreams of Binky leaving us. I sat up on bed crying. Honestly, I wouldn't know what to do if Binky is no longer with us.

May Allah grant Binky a long healthy life. Ameen.

Under Attack!!

Assalamualaikum n salam sejahtera sumer....

Selamat pagi sumer..

Pagi ni aku nk citer pasal Binky. Dialah yg under attack ni. Ini kali yang kedua dia kena attack. Kena attack ngan aper? Kena attack ngan SEMUT. Semut halus merah tu..sian dia..mengeliat, guling nk garuk tempat yg kena gigit ngan semut² tuh..

Dulu dah pernah jadik gak..memula tu x perasan ler yg dia kena gigit ngan semut.Aku memula suspek kutu jer ler..tp, mana mai kutu plak? So aku pun brush ler bulu dia..masa brush tu ler jumpe semut yg agak banyak gak lah..terjatuh kuar dr bulu dia. x lah banyak sampai ribu² atau ratus² tapi adelah lam berbelas cenggitu.

Dah brush tu..dia masih gak menggeliat semacam, so Azlan mai..bg dia mandi. Lepas mandi..ok dah la. Yg agak disturbing tu..binky ni..kalau menggeliat jer x per..dia buat bunyik skali..like.. "ngau"-dlm deep tone in short reps. Kalau korang x tau..kucing kitorang ni jarang mengeluarkan bunyik. So sekali sekala dia buat bunyik mcm tu..takut jugak jadiknyer.

Anyway..berbalik pada kisah semlm, aku hari tu mmg tau yg dia tdo kat dlm bilik laundry.. yelah..aku switch on kipas kat dlm bilik tu..n bukak tingkap sumer..so, sejuk agaknyer..so dia pun tdo lah dr tghari..sampai lah ke ptg. Bile dia bangkit ptg tu..n starts to menggeliat semacam, n that weird noise..aku dah agak dah dia kena gigit semut. Then lepas brush, aku gi masuk ke bilk laundry tu, only to find semut² kecik tuh. Then gitau lah kat Binky:-

Mama : Don't u go sleeping in there nemore now. Got it?

Binky : meow...

Mama : Good girl...

Binky : meow...

so..selama yg kitorang bela binky..dia mmg faham aper yg kitorang ckp kat dia. So aku assume dia paham ler. Tp akunyer silap gak lah..aku x switch off kipas lam bilik tu...but switch off kipas lam bilik tdo kitorang yg mana binky suke tdo lam bilik tu selalunyer.. Abes tu...dia gi tdo balik lam bilik laundry tu..Hampeh betul. Puas aku panggil tp x mo jugak kuar dr bilik tuh. Keluar jer later after that..hah..pelagi, kena gigit lagi skali ler..Masa ni barulah aku tingat yg aku lupe switch off kipas lam bilik tu. Dah switch off tu..alhamdulillah, dia pindah tempat tdo.

Tu jer lah kisah Binky di attack oleh semut² kecik yg aku rase nk balas dendam kat Binky. Yelahkan..semut² tu kecik, halus, dah tu tetiap kali dorang jalan jer..tersangku-sangkut sebab bulu binky yg walaupun halus jugak tapi boleh menyebabkan kemalangan yg agak dahsyat pada dorang. So, bile Binky tdo kat kawasan umah dorang, dorang pun , pelagi..balas dendam arr..wahahahaha

Hamsters~

Assalamualaikum sumer..hehehe

Kali ni aku nak story pasal 2 ekor hamster kat rumah kitorang neh.. jantan-Optimus, betina-Percy.. optimus ni..very active, very fat..huhu...but masa baru lepas belikan rumah baru tuk dorang neh..we realized that optimus ader luke kat badan dia..kesian nyer lah. Jaja dah nanes...n nasib bek lah jaja ader kat sebelah aku, kalau x aku pon ikut nanes gak...huhuhu

Optimus neh kaler golden brown, and percy lak white with black line at her back..optimus neh senyap sikit, but percy sangat2 lah noisy...sakit telinga kalau dia squek..

So, balik pada cerita optimus yang x sihat tuh...memula ingatkan nak asingkan dia from percy sampai wound dia heal, tapi kesian lah pulak..takut dorang lonely...so x jadik..then mengikut akunyer "kepandaian sendiri" muahahaha...aku pon boh lah air gamat kat wound si optimus tu.. after aku boh tu..dia terus x gerak...masa tu aku dok depan cage dorang ni sampailah si optimus ni gerakkan kepala dia..barulah lega..fuhh...the next day..he's his usual active self....
